Stems:  Up to 10 inches (25cm).

Flowers:  Four yellow clawed, distinct petals. Flowers are normally vibrant lemon yellow but can be greenish yellow.

Habitat:  Woodlands and meadows. Semi-desert to alpine.

Distribution:  Can be found in most counties of Colorado. Colorado Distribution Map

Origin:  Native to U.S.

Reproduction:  By seeds.
