Colorado WildflowersColorado Wildflowers site is for everybody who loves flowers and appreciates Colorado's beautiful landscape. This site is a collaborative effort of Colorado hikers, professional and amateur photographers, experienced botanists, and flora beginners. Some contributed photos; some helped identify plants; and some added content. We tried to follow the guide lines set by William A.Webber. These Colorado Wildflowers are arranged in various ways. They can be viewed by color, by blooming time, by family, by common name, and by scientific names. Many plants are not native. As pretty as they can be, they can pose a threat to other native plants. We listed them under the Alien Plant section. Each plant normally has multiple photos that in most cases were taken by different photographers at different locations. We try to provide as much details as possible for each photo. Some photos have information about where and when they were taken, trail maps, and elevations. Some locations can be truely spectacular for Colorado wildflowers viewing. We wish you can follow our steps to explore Colorado's beautiful landscape.
